Metal Gear Survive is available for the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One and PCs and costs around US$40 (RM156). As well as single player mode there's also a co-op mode for up to three players. Numerous smaller missions and tasks are lined up in rapid succession as well as the larger goals such as building a base. Killing zombies gives the player energy that they can use to build up their character. The game is all about survival and the tasks needed to do that are varied and challenging, from gathering food to building weapons – and of course fighting zombies. The remaining soldiers follow them through the wormhole and find themselves in a parallel world called Dite which is filled with zombies. Their base has been destroyed and a large number of their soldiers sucked into a wormhole. In Metal Gear Survive the mercenary troop Militaires Sans Frontieres is in trouble.
